Hunters stalk their prey before attacking them from a distance. Their weapons include daggers to quickly dispatch enemies that get too close, and bows to deal devastating attacks from far away. Eventually, Hunters have to choose from the specialized classes available to them, and they may choose to become an Assassin, Ranger, Scout, Shadow or Gunslinger. Scout

Description

  • - STR or WIS based
  • - Uses various traps
  • - Enchantment-based elemental attacks
  • - Can use both physical and magical skills

Scouts are Hunters who specialize in using traps. They artfully lay traps that exploit their enemies’ weaknesses. They can also get rough when necessary, but they usually combine their physical skills with traps and enhancements for even more damage. This class suits Hunters that favor traps instead of control skills.

  • - Right: Dagger or Blade

Iconic Skills

  • - Fire Support: This allows them to draw fire from the powerful cannons set up all over Glenheim. This bombards the target area, and the number of shots fired increases as the skill is further trained.

  • - Blast Ring: This skill let the Scout quickly plants and detonates bombs around the Scout. Scouts can plant up to eight bombs and are invincible while doing so.

  • - Flame Trap: The Scout uses this skill to track a nearby enemy and set them on fire. As this skill improves, the duration and movement speed of the flames increase.

  • - Lethargic Mist: This a poisonous cloud released in front of the Scout to hinder their enemies. Enemies poisoned by Lethargic Mist are damaged repeatedly for a certain amount of time and their movement and attack speeds decrease.

Background

  After the Genesis War, Akene fell into a sleep, so Tertis, leader of dragons, led the remaining dragons to the Recko Mountains and disappeared. But Tertis could not suppress his nature and began to abuse his power. Artesia, the water dragon, was forced to seal him away. The remaining six dragons scattered all over Glenheim.

  Sabrina, the wind and lightning dragon, wandered Tampera and found the descendants of Arad, the black dragon who had died after angering Akene. Boombus, one of Arad’s hunter descendants, was trying to create a new way to battle that combined the Hunter’s physical skills with bombs and traps. He failed every time and was rejected by his family, who had all followed the assassin’s path. Sabrina saw something in Boombus, so she taught him how to carve the dragon language on bombs and traps and disappeared without revealing his identity. With the help of Sabrina, Boombus became one of the deadliest people in all of Glenheim. He named his followers Scouts, a class that would soon be ranked alongside the Assassins…(omitted)

Assassin

Assassins are Hunters who specialize in close combat and aggressive fighting techniques. Their speed and expertise allow them to evade enemies and strike them at will. They also use traps, tripwires, and poisons in devastating combos. This class suits Hunters who have excellent control and value speed on the battlefield.

Iconic Skills

  • - Force Bomb: This draws in enemies with an energy wave before it explodes around them. As the skill improves, its range increases, and skilled Assassins can use it to throw enemies in the air to begin devastating combos.

  • - Wire Web: in which the Assassin uses his Shadow Wire to ensnare enemies and pull them closer. This allows him to attack the enemy no matter how far they try and run. This skill does the same damage and has the same cooldown as Shadow Wire.

  • - Blinking Shadow: The assassin uses this skill to throw a smoke screen that disorients their enemies. As the smoke screen spreads, the Assassin can then release bombs to deal even more damage.

  • - Shadow Wave: This skill let the Assassin hurl a powerful flash of energy across the ground. This energy can penetrate through enemies, and the range of the wave increases as the skill improves.

Background

  Arad the black dragon was given the power of death, previously a power only possessed. Arad fell in love with a woman who was about to die and couldn’t bear the thought of her passing. He ignored Akene and preserved his love’s life. When Akene found out that Arad had disobeyed her, she stripped him of his power and left him in his human form in the land of the dead.

  But Arad was not to be stopped. He escaped the land of the dead and went to Glenheim to find his love, only to find that she had long since passed. Heartbroken, Arad died a lonely death by her grave. The woman’s descendants found Arad’s book and spread his story. The skills he used to escape the land of the dead were passed down and the Assassin class was born…(omitted)

Ranger

Rangers are Hunters who specialize in long range attacks with bows. Their excellent range allows them to attack enemies from a safe distance and from any position. They can also rapidly let loose a barrage of arrows. The Ranger class suits Hunters that value control and precise battlefield management.

Iconic Skills

  • - Arrow Shower: This peppers a wide area with arrows. Although it isn’t very accurate, it hurls over fifty arrows in a mere three seconds.

  • - Aimed Shot: This fires a powerful arrow at a single shot. If the arrow hits its mark, then it deals critical damage and throws the enemy back.

  • - Lightning Shot: This allows the Ranger to fire an arrow charged with the power of lightning. As the skill improves, the number of arrows and damage dealt increases.

  • - Barrage: By using this skill, Rangers can fire a chain of arrows at high speed. The arrows contain powerful energy and explode when they land. The number of arrows increases as the skill is trained.

Background

  Before the Second Genesis War, Faye, the mischievous elf of wind, found a bow-hunter in the Ulu Plains. Whenever the hunter drew his bow, Faye would cast a strong wind, throwing his arrows off course. But the hunter was persistent and kept with his training in spite of Faye’s little pranks.

  When Hagios, the God of Air, discovered that Faye had been disturbing the humans he was furious and warned her never to return to the Ulu Plains again. Hurt by his scorn, Faye abandoned Hagios. Not long after Rahkdan attacked, killing the old god, and leaving Faye as one of his last remnants. Worried that the power of air would die with her, Faye visited the hunter and imparted part of her spirit into his bow. The Hunter was now stronger than ever. Even gale force winds couldn’t dissuade the tips of his arrow. He became known as the first Ranger…(omitted)

Shadow

Shadows are Hunters who use specialized skills to best their opponents. They are the fastest Hunter class, and they can access a wide range of skills to deliver exceptional combos. Furthermore, they have lots of skills that deceive their enemies, so they’re more than just quick with a blade. Therefore, Shadows are a good class for Hunters who want to perform quick combos.

Iconic Skills

  • - Violent Shadow: This allows them to charge forward with the power of the shadow and unleash a powerful explosion. This causes their enemies to bleed, and the more this skill is trained, the larger the attack range becomes.

  • - Vital Spiral: This skill is a spin attack with a both weapons to cleave their opponents in two. This allows them to carry out quick and explosive attacks, and it also reduces their distance to the enemy.

  • - Deceptive Cutter: The Shadow performs this skill in which they disappear for a moment only to reappear with daggers at the ready. If the slash attack succeeds, the enemy is paralyzed and they can perform an uppercut to throw their enemy in the air.

  • - Shadow Talon: This is a powerful spinning leap attack. This draws in enemies with a wave of energy and then harms them with a powerful slash.

Background

  Arad the black dragon was given the power of death, a power that previously only Akene possessed. The assassins who followed his teachings were worried about the future of Glenheim, as more and more monsters started to appear. They started to dive deeper into the research of Arad’s scripts and began to develop the assassin’s abilities beyond what Arad could have ever dreamed. They learned how to balance the use of two weapons at a time and their agility made them nearly impossible to spot.

Gunslinger

Gunslingers are specialized Hunters who use dual guns and muskets. They are the quickest draws among the ranged classes, and they’re exceptionally good at evading enemies. They also use the long range of their muskets and dual guns to drive their enemies into unfavorable positions. That makes Gunslingers the ideal class for Hunters who want to use the abilities offered by muskets and dual guns, as well as evasion techniques.

  • - Right: Dual guns
  • - Left: Musket

Iconic Skills

  • - Thunder Rain: It is a skill that rains a barrage of bullets on a wide area. With regular bullets this skill does concentrated damage. With air bullets, it brings down lightning on a larger area.

  • - Shotgun: This is a skill that fires shotgun shells with a great number of pellets in each blast. Use Lightning Enchant to load the weapon with air bullets and shoot an additional two times.

  • - Rising Circle: This skill allows the Gunslinger to fire pellets from the air in a 180 degree arc. They become invincible the moment they initiate Rising Circle, and more training increases the attack range of the skill.

  • - Electric Shot: This is a skill in which the Gunslinger uses magic air bullets to create a magnetic field. With regular bullets, the effect is insignificant, but, with air bullets, this skill reduces enemy movement speed.

Background

  After the Genesis War, the great elf Darwin founded the city of Vimpeli. Under Darwin’s leadership, Vimpeli became a strong and peaceful community.

  As with all good things, it didn’t last. The humans revolted and usurped control over the city. Darwin, seeing that there was nothing he could do, left the city without resistance and went into hiding. The few remaining mages still loyal to him soon followed and went to an island east of Glenheim, protecting the world in secret from afar. They called themselves the Ikejans Mages.

  The Ikejans Mages gave their best to maintain peace in Glenheim and even develop new battle gear. Their first new inventions were Dual Guns and Muskets. The use of these long range weapons earned their new style the name Gunslinger…(omitted)
