[SEA Server FAQ]
1. What will happen to my account during and after the migration?
: During the migration, all account data from the US server will be migrated to the Asia server. During this time, all users from the US server will be unable to access their characters. After the migration, users will only be able to access the servers corresponding to their regional locations.
2. Why is this migration happening?
: As part of our continuous effort to provide the community with the best gaming experience, we have come up with a solution for the lag issue that several members of the community have been experiencing. By dividing the IP traffic into regions, both US and Asian users will experience reduced gameplay lag and improved ping connections.
3. After the opening of the Asian server, are there further plans for C9?
: We will continue to put forth our best effort to make a better gaming environment for our users. This includes planning for further regional server divisions to ensure smooth gameplay for everyone.
4. Will all of the gameplay data of players who are migrating transfer from the US server to the Asian server?
: Yes. All gameplay data that has been generated on the US server until the scheduled maintenance on January 23rd, 2013 will be transferred.
5. Will the players, who migrate to the Asian server become unable to access the US server?
: Yes. Players from the Asian region will be unable able to access the existing US game server after the scheduled maintenance on January 23rd, 2013.In line with this, Players from the US region will be unable to access the SEA game server after the scheduled maintenance on January 23rd, 2013
6. What will happen if my items get lost during the data transfer?
: We advise everyone to take a screen capture of their inventories, equipped items, and storages prior to the migration. Should anyone encounter item losses after the migration, kindly send a ticket to the 1:1 inquiry along with a screenshot of your reported items. We will recover all confirmed losses resulting from the server migration.
7. What will happen to our guild?
: All data from the guild system will be reset on the Asia server. Guild data on the US server will be retained. For current guild leaders playing on the US server who are located in the Asian region, kindly delegate or pass guild leadership to a member who resides in the US Region prior to the server migration. Further announcements regarding this matter will be posted soon.
8. Below is the Countries list for each Server for faster and more stable game-play.
9. Will users from the EU server be affected by this migration?
: No, this migration process will only affect the US server of C9.
10. Will all Asian users be able to access the SEA server?
: Aside from the users located in the regions mentioned below, all other asian users will be able to access the SEA server:
1. China
2. Japan
3. Thailand
