[C9] Webzen Note – Slayer Reworked

Webzen Note

Greetings C9 Actionists,

 

Many Slayers have been waiting for improvements since we have announced the whole Witchblade rebalance. We are pleased to introduce stronger Slayer than ever! We have brought even more changes such as new skills on Slayer.

Slayer has a lot of combo skills but most of them are less useful in PvE and her battle style has become monotonous lately. So we have improved her current skills as well as added new skills that can be utilized for various action combo.

 

Please check out the details below.

 

Skill Improvements

Rout Point

- Spend maximum 5 points at once when using the skill
- Remaining points can be utilized with the new skill "Harvest"

Delpha Slasher

- Semi-super armor added to the first attack
- Players can force the second attack after the first hit
- Invincible frame added when activating Wicked Chase
- Increase Cooldowns

Mortal Chain Cut

- 1 Hit added to the first attack of Mortal Chain Cut
- Players may add combo attacks after uncessessful hit if learned Dark Chain

Dark Chain

Spiral Crash

- Damage Increase on the aerial rush
- Players may use Right-click to continue the skill after unsuccessful grab

Demonic Spear

- Players may maintain the transformed state for a  while after the Ultimate Fury Skill

New Skills

Rout Technician

- Gain Rout Point when using Ringshear Kick, Killer Bee, or Wicked Chase

Wicked Chase

- New Grab Skill
- Wicked Chase will be activated when using Wind Rave, Spiral Crash, or Falling - - Angel to an invincible or grab-immune enemy
- Players may maintain E key during the second attack of Delpha Slasher to activate this skill after successful Wind Rave, Spiral Crash, or Falling Angel
- Can combo into other Action Skills if you cancel during the delay

Harvest

- New Command Skill
- Spend 3 Rout Points to activate
- Players may combo this skill after using the skill Rout Point

I have a Slayer character. Will I Get a Free Skill Reset Scroll?

Same for the last Witchblade rebalance, we’ll have a period of adjustment for 2 weeks from the update so that all players can have a look on every skill.

 

In short, to get a Skill Reset Scroll, you need to:

  1. Have a Slayer character which is created before the scheduled maintenance on December 22, 2015 (UTC).
  2. Access to the rebalanced character AT LEAST ONCE during the period of adjustment (After the scheduled maintenance on December 22, 2015 to before the scheduled maintenance on January 5, 2016 UTC)
  3. The Free Skill Reset Scroll will be sent to the characters after the scheduled maintenance on January 5, 2016 (UTC).

 

That is not all! As we have asked actionists to share your thoughts with us in regards to Witchblade rebalance, we have decided to make further improvements on Bladedancer and Nightstalker!
