[C9] Webzen Note – New Awakened Level and more!

Greetings C9 Actionists,

 

We are pleased to introduce an Awakend power system and more! This time, we are preparing new contents as well as some changes on our new contents to improve gaming environment. Below are some of our future update plans.

 

[Awakened Level System]

Have you reached level 67 already? Are you having hard time in the 6th Continent even if you are fully geared up? Maybe you would like to try new classes but you are hesitating it because it is a long way to catch up with the highest level and contents.

Dragon Sabrina has discovered that it can share the special power with C9 heroes who are enough qualified. This power will become stronger just as your own level but this is not just a simple level-up system.

First and foremost, you can select the bonus that you would like to get. Second, the bonus will apply to both PvP and PvE, so you will be able to utilize the strong power with no special equipment. Last but not least, you can share the awakened level and the experience, and its benefit with all your characters in the same account! Consequently, you would get a big advantage on not only your main character but also all your sub characters you would like to try.

 

How to get the awakened power?

  1. You need to have a maxium level character that has a Ultimate Fury Skill.
  2. Get special quests and complete them to verify that you are fully qualified to get the new power.
  3. You will get a hidden power that applies to all your characters! You can select one of 3 bonuses you would like to get.
  4. Level up your awakened power to make the bonus even stronger! You can level up this power with only characters with the maximum level.

** Maximum level of the Awakened level would be 300.

** Please note that EXP boost potion/event/buff will not apply to your Awakened level.

 

[Viking Improvement]

Our developers are continuously trying to make the classes more balanced, so we have decided to make further improvements on our latest class Viking! Below are the expected changes.

 

  • Frost Stigma: Duration Increase
  • Duration increase of the Freezing Effect due to the Frost Stigma
  • Frost Bash III
  • Fast and Furious
  • Tactical Retreat
  • Furious Shout
  • Furious Shout: Freezing duration increase
  • Absolute Zero: Damage Increase, MP consumption decrease

 

[Mentor System Improvement]

As we would get Awakened level system and upcoming new contents, the current level requirements for the Mentor System would be a bit outdated. So we have decided to expand the level requirements so that more players can get benefits from being students!

The developers are also improving the rewards for mentors but it will take a bit more time.

 

All the changes above are supposed to be implemented on January 26, 2016 (UTC).

 

This is just a small snapshot of what the developers of C9 have been working on. There are many other parts of the game and interesting new additions that we have been looking into and we hope we can share that with you in the near future.
